Conference was organised by the Institute of Bioinformatics and Telemedicine of Collegium Medicum (Jagiellonian University) and the Laboratory of Biocybernetics and Automation at the University of Science and Technology in Krakow. Peter Sych i Iwona Kubiak presented the latest 4D Motion software and hardware combined with a live demonstration on possible medical applications.

At the conference Peter Sych and Iwona Kubiak conducted a lecture "Multisensory perception", followed by a preliminary report of effectiveness of teaching methods and treating psychological disorders using 4D MOTION. The first positive results of the tests conducted at the Academy of Administration and Psychotherapy were presented at the meeting.

Beginnng of the science research project was accented by a lecture conducted by psychotherapy specialist, dr Iwona Kubiak. The objectives of the project is to implement innovative methods of diagnosing and treating psychological disorders such as dyslexia and related conditions. 4D MOTION software will have a key function in the research.

Once again, the "Iter/Eter" installation was part of the inauguration of Audio Art 2009, this time featured at Empik, the finest department complex around the old town of Cracow. As always, the instrument gained ever lasting popularity among gathered people. For the duration of the festival, 4D MOTION was placed on the display at the "Bunker of Arts", a large gallery featuring many other interactive installations and modern art performances.

Festival "Warsaw Autumn", September 2009
During 52nd international music festival "Warsaw Autumn" 4D MOTION was presented as an interactive installation "Iter/Eter", an artistic conception of professor Marek Choloniewski. The premiere of the latest, 32 string edition of the instrument was complemented by a brand new software written by Jan Choloniewski and Marcin Paczkowski from the Academy of Music in Cracow.
As a leading theme there was a series of interactive presentations on the heritage of Polish Society of Electroacustic Music. In addition, the latest sound software especially created for the event, attracted people of all ages.

First presentation and performance of 4D MOTION took place during Audio Art 2008, an experimental and postmodernist event that integrate sound and visual arts. The instrument was presented as an interactive installation at the Academy of Music in Krakow. It was coordinated by professor Marek Choloniewski. The performance featured Marcin Paczkowski, a young conductor and composer from the academy who has written some special sound effects for the instrument, and Olga Mytnik, a classical pianist.
